P&O Cruises has announced that Captain Robert Camby will take the helm of the cruise line’s new LNG-powered ship Arvia. According to a press release, Captain Camby will bring out Arvia from the German shipyard Meyer Werft to the home port of Southampton where the vessel will sail its inaugural winter cruises in December 2022, before re-positioning to Barbados for its first Caribbean season.

Located on Perico Island of the Amador Causeway, Amador Cruise Terminal is in the final stage of construction, has a primary purpose to become a significant cruise port in the region.
