Carnival Cruise Line Entire Fleet is Back to Operations

Carnival Cruise Line celebrated the full fleet back to operations with the resumption of cruises of the final vessel back in service Carnival Splendor setting sail from the port of Seattle on Monday. This voyage celebrates the re-launch of an entire fleet as Carnival Cruise Line becomes the first major cruise line in the United States to reach that reference point.

After 27 years with Princess Cruises Captain Dino Sagani, has announced opening of a new chapter in his life and embarking on a new adventure. Last month Princess Cruises much loved and energetic captain posted a message on social media saying farewell to the Princess Cruises family and especially to the crew aboard the Majestic Princess, the ship he has captained since 2017.

Cunard’s Queen Anne to sail inaugural season from Southampton

Today Cunard announced that the newest ship Queen Anne, set to join the fleet in January 2024, will be based out of Southampton. The line revealed that the ocean liner will sail its inaugural voyage from Southampton to Lisbon. Upon arriving back in the UK Queen Anne will be joined for the first time by her sister ships Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.  

Azamara Onward Christened in Monaco

Azamara Onward, the fourth cruise ship joining Azamara fleet, was named in a beautiful dockside celebration in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The celebration was attended by the media, travel agents, investors, and privileged guests, as well as former Holland America Line president Orlando Ashford, who is currently the official president of Azamara Cruises.

Princess Cruises announced that Crown Princess, Island Princess, and Royal Princess are returning to guest operations. This turning point marks the add-up of 12 ships out of 15 in Princess Cruises fleet, or 80 percent of the cruise line's capacity.

Palma de Mallorca to limit cruise ship arrivals by 2026

May 5 was a historical day for the port of Palma de Mallorca, with the signing of an agreement to limit the number of cruise ships by 2026. The popular cruise destination in the Balearic Islands will allow no more than three cruise ships per day with a limit to one mega cruise ship with over 5,000 passengers. For the current year, four ships a day may be in port for a maximum of eighteen days during the year.
