Carnival Cruise Line announced today it is revamping the menus for several of its specialty dining venues and reintroducing Baked Alaska across the fleet. After several years the classic dessert made of cake and ice cream topped with merengue is being reintroduced to all Carnival cruise ships.
In a recent U.S.P.H. inspection conducted on November 26, 2017, Celebrity Cruises ship, Celebrity Eclipse earned perfect 100 points. The 122,000-ton cruise ship was returning from a Caribbean voyage to its homeport Miami, Florida when the unannounced inspection was conducted. CDC inspectors boarded the Eclipse and after several hours the cruise ship received a perfect score of 100 points with compliments to all crew for their amazing and hard work.
Passengers and crew onboard the cruise ship Celebrity Reflection which left Fort Lauderdale on November 17, have been hit with an aggressive outbreak of gastro virus.
I have received a message from MSC Cruises crew member saying that the onboard security officers are confiscating the sauce SAMBAL from the Indonesian crew. Allegedly the sign-on crew which has brought sambal from back home are not allowed to bring it on the ship and security takes the sauce. Okinawa Customs and Japan Coast Guard have arrested a group of four crewmembers at the port of Naha, on suspicion of violating the customs laws.
The Spanish Coast Guard performed a medical evacuation of two people, a crew member and a passenger, who were sailing on board the cruise ship Oceania Riviera. Medical evacuation has been confirmed to Europa Press by a spokesman for Maritime Rescue, who said that, around 9:20 p.m.
More than 1000 people affected by the massive floods in Greece will be housed on the luxury cruise ship “Celestyal Nefeli” which is already docked in Piraeus.
