Bob Binder Moves From Oceania Cruises CEO to Advisory Role With NCLH

Some important changes in the management were announced this week by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Oceania Cruises co-founder, president and CEO Bob Binder, is transiting to another role, vice chairman of NCLH. To be more specific, he will now report to Frank Del Rio, president and CEO of NCLH. 

Costa Diadema Replaces Costa Smeralda For 2021-2022 Brazil Season

Costa Cruises announced it will change the ships sailing for the upcoming Brazilian Season. The company said that Costa Smeralda will be replaced with Costa Diadema. The LNG-powered cruise ship Costa Smeralda, which was due to begin seven-night cruises to Santos, Salvador and Ilhéus, will now sail Mediterranean itineraries.

Carnival Cruise Line has revealed the godmother of the totally revamped Carnival Radiance, the author and philanthropist. Celebrity Cruises has chosen an Interesting name looking upward with its latest ship Celebrity Ascent. The name was announced at the steel-cutting ceremony at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique was attended by Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, Richard Fain, Chairman and CEO of the Royal Caribbean Group and Laurent Castaing, General Manager of Chantiers de l'Atlantique.

MSC Cruises Celebrates MSC Seashore Naming Ceremony Featuring Sophia Loren and Nile Rodgers

MSC Cruises celebrated the naming of its latest flagship MSC Seashore, and largest cruise ship built in Italy. The glamorous event took place on November 18, at the private island Ocean Cay Marine Reserve with the icon of Italian class and style Sophia Loren, serving as a Godmother of all MSC Cruises ships since 2003.
