Search for Overboard Crew Member From MS Koningsdam Called Off

The U.S. Coast Guard ended the search for the missing 31-year-old man who have gone overboard from the cruise ship MS Koningsdam on Monday night near Juneau, Alaska.

Holland America Line said that the man was a crew member and was reported missing after the ship left Juneau. The cruise line didn’t reveal the nationality or the department the crew member was working aboard.

Carnival Cruise Line Introduces New Lager Developed By Its Brew Team

To celebrate International Beer Day Carnival Cruise Line has announced a new brew to serve across the fleet: ParchedPig Beach Lager. The cruise line describes the new lager as a “refreshing, crisp and golden beer” that is available in cans at bars and restaurants, as well as on tap at select locations. Carnival recommends trying ParchedPig Beach Lager, developed by Carnival's brewing team, with Guy's Burger or BlueIguana Soft Tacos.

Carnival Corporation Announces Fuel and Energy-Saving Tech

Carnival Corporation announced the introduction of a comprehensive technology upgrade called Service Power Packages across its global fleet to further improve energy savings and reduce fuel consumption. The upgrades include ongoing installations until 2023 onboard nine brand-name cruise lines - Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises (Australia), Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises (P&O Cruises) and Cunard.
