Sami Kohen Named Vice President of Food & Beverage at Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises announced the appointment of Sami Cohen to the position of Vice President of Food and Beverage. Sami is a distinguished food and beverage professional with extensive culinary experience across a wide range of cruise, travel and hospitality brands. Cohen will join Princess on August 29 and will report directly to President John Padgett.

Windstar Cruises Ends Pre-Cruise COVID-19 Testing

Windstar Cruises has revised its COVID-19 protocols and procedures and will no longer require pre-cruise COVID-19 testing for boarding guests, the statement said, unless required by one of the countries on the planned routes. These changes will take effect for cruises departing on or after September 6, 2022. Windstar said it would still require all guests to be fully vaccinated and to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.

A new cruise line catering to the French market is on the horizon with the purchase of the MS Aegean Myth 

The sale of the former Holland America Line cruise ship MS Maasdam which was acquired by the Greek shipping magnate Marios Iliopoulos back in July 2020, and renamed Aegean Myth, was announced today.

After canceling arrivals to Ensenada, due to safety concerns, the cruise ships are returning to this popular Mexican cruise destination, said Mayor Armando Ayala Robles.

Carnival Cruise Lines has confirmed arrivals to Ensenada with two of its ships, Carnival Radiance and Carnival Miracle, and complete its slate of scheduled arrivals in the coming months, said Robles.

AIDA Cruises has presented digital outdoor advertising with 3D animation on a total of 100 digital screens and towers in Hamburg Together with Ströer, well-known provider of outdoor advertising, AIDA Cruises is bringing the new trend in three-dimensional campaigns to Hamburg. Digital outdoor advertising with an animated 3D motif will be presented for the first time on the so-called Public Video City Towers.
