Crystal Cruises has resumed operations from New York City with Crystal Symphony. The ship departed on September 24 from Manhattan Cruise Terminal for its ‘Luxury Bermuda Escapes’ itinerary, on the first 7-night cruise sailing.

It’s official, Carnival Cruise Line will allow all of its crew members who are fully vaccinated to go outside in any ports, at any time, for independent shore leave. This is such a great news for thousands of crew members currently onboard Carnival Cruise Line ships, who can finally step foot on land and enjoy the beautiful ports in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Bahamas, as well as the US home ports.
MSC Cruises has changed crew mailing service policy limiting the delivery of packages for cruise ship employees onboard their ships sailing in Europe. According to a fellow crew member who shared a screenshot of an official MSC Cruises post, each employee is allowed to receive 2 packages per month with a maximum weight of 3 Kg or 6,6 Pounds per package.

Today August 13, is a big day for Cunard Line as their first ship resumes operations with passengers after a 17 month break. Queen Elizabeth will depart from Southampton Ocean Terminal later this evening on her first UK Coastal Cruise. The vessel will sail a series of British Isles itineraries until the end of the summer before returning to international sailings in October this year.
A burst pipe on the Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas caused flooding in some crew areas yesterday, while the cruise ship was sailing in the South China Sea. Water spewed down the corridors and staircases, leaving some crew cabins flooded.
