Carnival Says Crew Shortages are Caused By Backlogs and Delays in US Consular Processing of Visa

Coast Guard Suspends Search For Woman Who Went Overboard From Celebrity Solstice

The search for a 40-year-old woman who went overboard off the cruise ship Celebrity Solstice in Alaska is over. The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended the search efforts in Alaska’s Inside Passage on Tuesday after searching for the woman for about nine hours, Petty Officer Ali Blackburn said. USCG conducted a search by boat and a helicopter in the waters near Eldred Rock in Lynn Canal, 20 miles (30 kilometers) west of Juneau.
