Captain Adriano Binacchi welcomes ATP Cup Tennis Players on Carnival Spirit

Captain Adriano Binacchi and it’s amazing crew welcomed the professional tennis players onboard Carnival Spirit, marking the launch of the ATP Cup. This special event took place on January 7, while Carnival Spirit was docked in Sydney Harbour, Australia. The Captain and its crew shared some fun with tennis players Jamie Murray, Bruno Soares, Milos Raonic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Lucas Pouille, Diego Schwartzman and Nick Kyrgios during the Fast4 Tennis Launch held onboard.

Wave of Emotions - Carnival Crew Say Final Farewell to Their Beloved Assistant Maitre D'

A touching tribute was held in the port of Galveston for the crew member Charnel Rego who died suddenly onboard Carnival Freedom. With tears in their eyes, and wave of emotions, many crew and officers attended the ceremony in front of Carnival Freedom on January 5, 2019. The tribute has been marked with an emotional flower-laying ceremony into the sea by a group of Charnel’s closest friends.

Celebrity Solstice narrowly avoids wiping out stricken boat

Four youngsters on inflatable boat had a frighteningly close call with the 122,000 tonne cruise ship Celebrity Solstice in Tauranga Harbour, Australia. The Bay of Plenty Regional Council posted the video showing the Celebrity Cruises ship leaving the Port of Tauranga on December 14, when a small rubber boat run out of fuel.

MSC Cruises celebrates MSC Grandiosa flotation ceremony

MSC Cruises, the world's largest private-owned cruise company together with one of the world's leading shipbuilders Chantiers de l'Atlantique, celebrated the flotation ceremony of MSC Grandiosa. The latest MSC cruise liner is in the shipyard of Saint Nazaire, France, where the work will continue until final delivery in October 2019.
