Today Disney Cruise line has confirmed the acquisition of the partially completed mega cruise ship Global Dream that was sitting at MV Werften shipyard in Germany. The new edition of the DCL fleet will feature innovative Disney experiences along with the dazzling entertainment, world-class dining, and legendary guest service that set Disney Cruise Line apart.”

Dubai Harbour opens the 2022-23 cruise season with the arrival of AIDAcosma

Today Dubai Harbour welcomed its first cruise ship the AIDAcosma from the German cruise line Aida, officially starting its 2022/23 cruise season. AIDAcosma will use Dubai as a homeport departing on 7-night Orinet voyages to Muscat, and Abu Dhabi. AIDAcosma is one of the largest cruise ships within the AIDA fleet and is a first-of-its-kind liquid natural gas (LNG) powered ship with a capacity of over 5,500 guests. 

Holland America Line announces return to Japan with ms Westerdam

After two-and-a-half-years Holland America Line is preparing to return to Japan for a series of cruises in early 2023 with the ms Westerdam.

The government of Japan announced on November 15 it is ready to start welcoming international cruise ships again to allow tourists to enjoy the wonders of cruising to the country's beautiful ports.
