Costa Toscana arrives in Doha

On January 15, 2023, Costa Cruises ship Costa Toscana, arrived in Doha, Qatar as part of the first cruise tour in the Arabian Gulf. 

The cruise ship will offer 3 to 7-day voyages, and can accommodate about 6,500 passengers. They feature water parks, swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants, and lounges. 

Christine Duffy Presents "Spirit of Carnival" Award To Miss Universe Ukraine

As part of the 71st annual Miss Universe Pageant, Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy awarded Miss Ukraine Victoria Apanasenko the "Spirit of Carnival" for embodying the company's values of fun, friendship, diversity, and inclusion. The Spirit of Carnival award was presented during the Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans. 

Holland America Line Returns To Asia With MS Westerdam

Holland America Line is finally back with sailings in Asia with the cruise ship ms Westerdam. In its first Asian visit since the 2020 cruise industry shutdown, the ms Westerdam arrived on Pulau Komodo island on Saturday. Following the first stop the cruise liner arrived in Bali after visiting Lembar, Indonesia, on Sunday. 

Carnival Corporation to Roll Out Starlink on Cruise Ships Across its Global Fleet

Carnival Corporation has signed a deal for SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service and is already rolling out high-speed connectivity on Carnival Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises ships. Carnival announced today plans to install Starlink on almost 100 cruise ships sailing for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Australia, Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Cunard.

MSC Cruises Partners With New York Knicks

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. and MSC Cruises signed a deal for a multi-year marketing partnership, making MSC Cruises the official cruise partner of the New York Knicks. The partnership will provide MSC Cruises with significant brand promotion during all Knicks games at The Garden, including LED signage and virtual on-court signage. In addition, MSC Cruises will be the presenting partner for the Knicks' in-game jersey toss. 

Norwegian Joy to undergo extensive dry dock in 2024

Cruises aboard the Norwegian Joy between January 6 and February 10, 2024, have been canceled due to an extended dry dock refurbishment. Guests were notified by email that reads: "As part of our commitment to continually offer our guests outstanding vacation experiences around the world and to support a consistent product of world-class classes around the world our fleet, Norwegian Joi will undergo revitalization in early 2024."
