On September 21, 2020, Princess Cruises announced the sale of two of its sister ships, Sun Princess and Sea Princess, to undisclosed buyers. Introduced as a second ship in the Sun Class, Sea Princess was the favorite cruise ship sailing among passengers in Australia.
