AIDA Cruises is the latest cruise line to ease Covid-19 vaccination requirements for guests sailing abort their ships. The easing of the COVID-19 situation around the world in recent months has led to a significant reduction in travel. A number of relaxations were initiated, allowing AIDA Cruises to gradually and responsibly adjust its protocols. As of September 17, 2022, proof of vaccination protection against COVID-19 will not be required on most AIDA voyages.

Crew Center received a message from a crew member saying that masks are now optional for the crew in the crew areas. The crew member said that the loosening of the mask requirements in the crew areas is now implemented aboard Ovation of the Seas.

Azamara has announced that it will no longer require guests to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 after December 1st.

The new rule applies to any Caribbean or European sailing unless the destination requires vaccination.

Costa Luminosa has completed its final voyage as a Costa Cruises ship and is now one step closer to joining Carnival Cruise Line as Carnival Luminosa.
