NCL Cancels Bermuda Stop on Norwegian Getaway Transatlantic Cruise

Norwegian Cruise Line has informed travel agents about the recent change in itinerary of the transatlantic cruise from Europe to the USA onboard Norwegian Getaway. The 17-day voyage departing from Rome (Civitavecchia) on December 5, 2021 will be modified and the cruise ship will skip the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda and stay overnight in Miami.

Jordan Fisher will Perform New Original Disney Cruise Line Song at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Disney announced that Disney Chanel and Broadway star Jordan Fisher will be stepping on board the Disney Cruise Line float in this year’s Macy’s 95th Thanksgiving Day parade, to perform the original Disney Cruise Line song titled “Together We Set Sail.”

Rescue at Sea Award Goes to Carnival Ecstasy

Next Tuesday, at the annual ceremony on Capitol Hill the Awards For Rescue at Sea (AFRAS) will be presented to civilians and coastguardsmen who went beyond the call of duty to save mariners in distress. This year Carnival cruise ship’s crew is included, awarding their response to a yacht’s distress call and the performance of a successful rescue. 

Anthem of the Seas Completes cruises in the UK and Heads for New Jersey

Anthem of the Seas completed the UK domestic cruises and is now sailing to the U.S. coast. The planned operations of the vessel are starting out of the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey, in about a week. It will be the second Royal Caribbean’s ship sailing from New Jersey, but Anthem of the Seas was the first in the fleet to restart in the UK and the fifth overall in the fleet globally.
